Can anyone recommend a small camping site in the north midlands? (shrops/staffs/derbys/notts/leics)

With showers and washing up place!

Bosworth Water Trust in Market Bosworth, never camped there but been for lots of day trips. Showers nice, somewhere to wash up and plenty for kids to look at as they do canoeing,windsurfing etc there. And a nice little sandy bit round the edge of the lake which kids use as a kind of beach with no waves!

Conkers, its next to the yha where they do food, its a camping and caravan club sight, showers excellent, no play area but they give you a voucher for conkers which is ace.

We've shortlisted Carsington Camping and Caravanning and Beech Croft Farm anyone been to these?

Thanks for the suggestions folks! Pilaton Farm is really very close to us, if you go, Birches Valley VC on Cannock Chase is good for kids - great play area and cafe with nice walks.
