I am fed up of my tea tasting like plastic

We have cheapo plastic mugs which are obviously nice and convenient for chucking about, don't break even when washed by 4 year old etc etc.

But tea tastes like plastic (at least I hope that's what the horrible taste is).

Please recommend your hot drink receptacles to me

we've just bought some of those enamelled tin mugs and will be christening them this weekend. Not convinced they're really wise though - they will conduct heat.

From my historical re-enactment days I seem to remember leather tankards working quite well.

Cheap chunky china mugs that get replaced a lot. If you are not too precious about them and don't mind keep replacing them, they are so much better than plastic or metal.

Maybe waxed paper cups if you don't like the idea of china.

Deffo china mugs, £1 each in Asda and if youa re worried about transporing them get them when you get your food shop (if you don't take it all)

definitly china ones - and glass wine glasses for that matter too. got totally sick of drinking wine from plastic cups or mugs. ultra cheapo ones, and we still haven't broken them (not let the 6 yr old loose with the washing up yet though).
