can you recommend a family friendly site within an 90 mins of Glasgow?

We are thinking of buying a tent, but want to start and look at some sites. Can anyone recommend anywhere nice within an hour or two of glasgow please?

Can recommend Hoddom Castle just a couple of miles from Ecclefechan/ Annan. Nice play area for kids, clean toilets, friendly people, lovely walks. Also has small child friendly bar and restaurant. We stop en route at Moffat to go to the bestest sweetie and bakery shop for supplies.

This one www.campingandcaravanningclub.co.uk/siteseeker/aspx/details.aspx?id=7070 is nice because you can get access to the grounds of Culzean Castle while you're there (well you could last time I stayed there) - it's near Ayr.

And I stayed once in a site at Balloch that would be quite near Glasgow.
Go on, get a tent!

Cashel on Loch Lomond is very nice, as is Ardgartan on Loch Long at Arrochar. Both on the lochside with nice views and good facilities. The only down-side is the dreaded midges...
