What does your toddler wear to sleep in?

Dull question. We are going to Devon in July. DD is now 2 and we were going to take a duvet for her (so DP can sleep on the single bed when she inevitably comes in with me ).

I am not sure whether her normal PJs will be warm enough. Just sling some socks on? What does your toddler do?

Hi there, I just posted on another thread for someone wanting to know what to dress their 6-month-old in for camping and I suggested a fleecy all-in-one, so do you think your toddler will squeeze into a 18-month to 2-year size one???

We're off next weekend and have picked one up for our ds, but he's 22 months so a bit younger. Failing that how about a baby -style sleeping bag for older children?

The fleece suits worked best for us but they are really hard to find at this time of year. You could try joggers and a fleece top a size too big, over the pj's and sox. It can go seriously cold in a tent at night and they're not great at staying in sleeping bags, so I think the duvet idea could work.
When mine were younger DP and I used to have one child each in the two sleeping pods. Then they can snuggle up if they are cold.Oh and don't forget to put a least one blanket underneath her cos a lot of the cold comes from the ground.
Good luck and have fun,

Fleecy all-in-one if you can get one. They are great.

Thanks, will try and get a fleecy thing from ebay.
And good tip about the blanket underneath, did think about that.

I have thermals for both of mine (4 & 2) which I pop under their pj's. Littlest sleeps in a grobag and big one under a duvet with me. It worked for us last weekend and at Featherdown in April.
