What are the best long lasting lanterns- any recommendations?

although a fully paid up environmentalist i've had huge disappointments with wind-up and rechargeable lanterns for camping; neither lasting long enough, the wind-up being the worst. However I've just bought a new rechargable one with LED bulb which should make the difference IMO. So my recommendation is to look at the bulb as well as the charge period.
