I am seriously in love with the idea of getting one but dh is taking some persuading. Are they as fab as they look?

We got one last year and have been out twice (this last very cold weekend being one of the trips). I adore ours - we have 2 ds (4 and 21m). I love the space, the light, the lack of dampness. It is a doddle to put up and lovely to be all snuggled up together. As soon as the kids get beyond the 'snuggling up' stage I shall evict them into our old two man tent hehehe. You can get an inner but we don't have one (we might at some point). We are fairly basic campers still (pre kid hikers who took as little as possible) but we make it cosy with throws in the ground sheet and hooking things up out of the way with karabiners on the central pole. Some people do the whole fairy lights/ bunting thing but I think it would take something to persuade DP to go down that route. We do also have an awning which we can put over the front porch in various configurations.

Stumbleine, we used ours for the first time last weekend, and it's even better than I thought it would be. SO lovely to wake up to all that space. Also, ds and his little buddy (both just over 2) loved playing inside before bed time too whilst we sat outside and enjoyed the peace!
