Campsites In North Wales

Any recommendations?

We are looking for a campsite in North Wales that has facilities for families, we are not bothered about entertainment, just so long as it's clean!

Bumping for you. Camping is not my thing, sorry, but isn't there one in Beddgelert?

Gosh, i've no idea, DH wants to go to North Wales though for some reason, still atleast we will be going in the opposite direction to the usual holiday traffic

Yes, there is as I just put Camping Beddgelert into Google. Have a look and tell me what you think!

Btw, the last I heard, there was something being done to the Anglesey bridge or bridges, so check what the traffic is like before you head to Anglesey. Ask Pixiefish for insider info!

And if you want some tips on nice places to go, I can give you some!

There's meant to be a lovely one at Shell Island, near Barmouth. Not exactly North Wales, more sort of North Mid-West, but I have loads of friends who've been and they say its really nice - clean and friendly.

We've just come back from a lovely one on Anglesey, quiet, clean, with indoor and outdoor play areas and a baby/toddler washing area in their "award-winning" loos. The only negative was that the TV room/indoor play area is only open when the shop is, which out of season is only 9-12 and 5-6pm. Plenty for children to do in the surrounding area and can recommend Treath Lligwy beach which is only a 5 minute drive. Wd def go there again. Site was Home Farm, nr Marianglas \link{http://www.homefarm-anglesey.co.uk}.
