campsite near Lake Vyrnwy?

We spent the day at Lake Vyrnwy yesterday and it was lovely, beautiful walks, amazing wildlife etc etc.

We would like to camp there for a weekend so that we could see and do more, but I haven't been able to find a campsite nearby? Does anyone know of one? It would need to be fairly well equipped as we have 3 children aged 4-7, but I don't need an electric hook up.

Lake Vrnwry is lovely isn't it? Lke Bala is not too far away (30 mins along a pretty road) and we stayed at a smashing campsite there.

There's also a small railway that runs alongside Bala - the station is just next to the campsite.

sorry here

We camped at Bala last year, we stayed at Glanllyn which was lovely.

Staying there again is definitely an option as it was a brilliant site, but it would be nice to find one a bit closer.
