DH, DS (5.6yrs) and I are looking to go camping in the vicinity of Dover over the bank holiday weekend at the end of May.

Does anyone have any recommendations? We have a tent and would like electric hook up. We are not keen on camp entertainment and the like.

Any ideas??

thanks!

We go to a Camp-site in folkstone www.independent.co.uk/travel/the-50-best-camping-sites-125-480374.html its a great location there is a beach you can walk to the tunnel is up the road if you want to go to France. Dover takes between 20 and 30 ins to get to, so not very far. My in laws live near here so that another reason why we go. When your down there take ds up to the cliffs to watch the ferry's coming and going you can see cars breaking down as the come off the boats. Dover castle is also worth a visit if you have time there is lots there so it a good day out.Hope this helps have a good time.
