Camping in the Jura

Anyone camped in this region before? I've seen a couple of campsites that I quite fancy:
this one which looks lovely but is a bit too in the middle of nowhere - I'd like to be able to walk to a village and not just be in the middle of farmland

or this one which has a lovely location but some of the reviews say the loos arent well looked after and it can be noisy.

I really like the idea of them being by a river that you can swim in. Any recommendations please?

Yes we've stayed in the first one although it was only for a stopover for a couple of nights on the way back from the south. It had a quite nice restaurant on site and the children had great fun playing/swimming in the river (which was a new experience for them) and in the outdoor pool. We did go cycling nearby and I seem to remember there was a 'Treejumpers' type place at the entrance. We had bad weather after the first day so didn't see much else of the area but I think it's a beautiful area but if you're looking to walk to a big village I'm not sure. The other place looks very different to this one!
