I do sheets and duvet blankets etc. but I am a car camper...

yes will have to go down duvet route. sleeping bags were v. handy as they packed away so neatly. dam my old bones

I went from high-tech mummy bag on a thermarest, to zipping a pair of kingsize rectangular bags together on an airbed. Clearly old bones!

By zipping bags together dh and I can sunggle in together, and I get to share his warmth without having to be strangled by my sleeping bag. Cosy !

Have you looked at the Geleret Pod sleeping bag - lots more room to move around in.

BariatricObama · 14/04/2010 10:44

dh's parents have been trying to palm a comedy double sleeping bag off on us. might try that. the sleeping pods look good but are only 2 season so probably not warm enough for my old bones

I like those padded baby grows

I have a big rectangular outwell bag with an integral pillow. Couldn't get on with a mummy...used to get tied up in knots!. It's lovely...you can lie on your side in foetal position it's that big.
