Site near Bruges, Belgium

there is one on the east side of bruge - but there is a childrens park and swimmingpool next door not a childrens play area as such in the site -would that be ok?

it is very compact but clean and pleasant - my dd's liked the pool in the woods next door

you can see this site from the motorway - not really fanced this one

IvyKaty is the park next door one with swings etc? I looked at that site but as there was no mention of play area i wasn't sure if they would be highly unimpressed .
The other one (Kleinstrand) seems to have a lot going on but i only want a base for 3 nights before venturing further one so seems a lot to pay!

no the park next door is a wood with an open air gym type thing and a swimming pool with a flume so my 2 dds were happy with a pool and flume even though is was paying to get in - we cycled into bruge and looked around and then moved on I think just 2 nights there, it was handy to have a supermarket within 5 minutes walk to stock up on food for the onward journey.

We've just come back from camping memling, it was great, no kids facilities on site, it's a city site, but adventure playground and woods on the edge, pool and Maccy D's and Quick burger across the road had a great play area each. We just went in, had coffe and a chat whilst ds played!

You can walk to city centre - can't believe it still but my 4 yo ds walked home!!

Carrefour across the road for bargain bbq meat! Frituur up the road for chips n' mayo lol!
