this is probably a stupid question but i'm new to camping.....

What the hell is a 'pup tent' ?? is it to do with dogs or kids? surely they would be in the main tent?!

kids usually! for slightly older children who don't want to be in the main tent - friends of ours use one for their 10 and 11 yos!

no - usually a pup tent is a tiny one that just fits on the same pitch. Obv only works if your main tent is small enough to comfortably fit on a pitch with room to spare
