So we can get the train from London to Paris for £69 per adult return if we book in advance.
Does anyone know about train from Paris to Amsterdam?
This Amsterdamn campsite looks great.

Anyone know anywhere to camp in Paris?
Just stopping there so little ones can see Disneyland, want to camp there also to keep cost down, or may have to get a hotel?

Anyone else took a similar holiday?

we have just booked Eurostar to Paris, couple of nights there, then TGV to Bordeaux. I can't wait.

This place is near to disneyland and they run shutle buses from there.
Not stayed there, but worked a season with Keycamp years ago hence being aware of it.

hi milkybarsrus

This is the site for booking TGV and various other European trains rail europe

As a rough guide to prices, we will be 2 adults and 2 children travelling from Paris to near Bordeaux and back in the first couple of weeks of August. The outward journey (on a Saturday) cost about £220 total; the return journey (on a Monday) cost £70 in total. So about £290 return for all 4 of us (plus of course the journey to and from Paris). Journey time is under 2 hours each way, I think, and they are comfortable trains.

Booking opens 12 weeks before the departure date and there are incredible bargains. We did well with the £70 return journey, and we could have got £90 for the outward leg if we'd been quicker off the mark. You can get them to email you when booking opens to be sure that you remember to book that day.

just browsing Rail Europe and wow - how about £23.50 to go from Paris to Milan arriving by lunchtime that same day? here

iheartdusty · 13/05/2010 19:59

ps sorry I was wrong - journey time is more like 3 hours to Bordeaux.
