Can anyone recomend a nice site in Brittany for a caravan? Ideally minimum driving to beach and with good shop and pool on site to entertain a two year old (and a 6 month old). we'll be going in May.

Thank you !

Might be a bit cold for pool and beach in May!! We've been to a few good sites in Brittany:
Les deux fontaines in raguenes was lovely and short drive or walk to the beach. Lovely towns nearby.
Camping Village la plage in le Guilvenic has a brilliant location right on a beach - only downside was that the pool wasn't great when we went but it's all been upgraded and looks fab now!
Camping Mane Guernehue in baden has a fab pool area but is hilly and a drive to the beach. You can walk into the local village though and it's a great site for young DC.

I've been to a some good sites in the Vendee too but you might bebest looking at sites with an indoor pool if you're going in May.

I agree with it being a bit windy and chilly for the beach in May - the sunniest place is the Il de Rea

down further south of La rochelle and it is an island you get to by bridge.

You are more likely to get warm enough weather in may and it is still way out of season so cheaper

There is a really nice site down her and a short cycle to the beach - you can rent bikes or a carryer for babies - all cycle routes are great for children to cycle when older.

teh sites have a pool with a cover

let me knwo if you ant the name and I will find it.
