Camp Bestival 2010, who's going that wouldn't mind a tag along!!

I really want to take DS's (will be 2.7 and 4.10) to Camp Bestival this year but DH will almost definitely be in afghan and i've never been to a festival before so i'd really like a friend to hold my hand

Are you going, have you been before, am i mad to consider this on my own, heeeeelllllppppp!!!!

DS will be 2.6, and we're going with friends with a dd the same age.

I've never been before. Or indeed, slept in a tent since I was 18, so will be interesting!

We're going! Me, DH, DSD (14) and DS (3). Fancy dress theme has just been announced so I'm getting hideously excited.

Is it any good for younger children? ds will be 21months and I'll be pg so not sure whether to wait a year? Any one been and can let me know? We finally live near by so would love to go festivalling again!

Mrs Ticklemouse.... sorry to bump this late in the day but we met at the Minute for Mothers thing! I've just been researching Camp Bestival and think we're going to book up, you are welcome to come and camp near us! My DS will LOVE your DS!

It'll be me, DH, DS (aged 3.5) DD (aged 1) and 2 DSSs (12 and 9).

After looking at this thread, I've just been and looked at the website, looks like fun. Can I just ask a really really dumb question though - do the tickets include the cost of the pitch or is that extra?

I know I haven't been around for a while, but I am an oldie on MN (I am sure =I can find someone to vouch for me!!)
ANyway if you haven't booked any tickets I have some spare

DH can't go - boo hoo
So we have 4 tickers, 2 adults and 2 under 10's

I really want someone I know (ISH) to have them and not sell on teh open market.

Let me know please

Hello was about to start a thread on this

we will trying this Festival this year after 3 years on the trot at Latitude, dd was very upset at the change but relented when she heard MrTumble would be there, although she told me she might be to old for him now at 5

any advice hints for this festival?

Crunchie - do you still have tickets?

I'd love to go to this but it would be me, dd (3) and ds (6) and I'm far too scared to do it on my own!!!

Lunavix you would only need an adult ticket for you, and 2 kids tickets. I have 2 adults and 2 kids, not woth it for you.

BUT It is amazing and you will have great fun.
