Camping toilet/Porta potti advice

I've bought a Bio-pot 30 for the campervan and have filled it up today with the Rinse stuff and the Blue stuff.

I'm just a bit worried though as it said to prime it by pulling the flush lever a few times, which I did.So now the bowl has some of the water and rinse aid in it, which is very gradually seeping through some sort of membrane with a little crack in it to the main waste tank where the blue stuff is. However its going through very gradually and there is no way a poo would fit down there.

Are they not meant to be used for poos. Or was I supposed to somehow remove this membrane thing, the instructions didn't say to. I can't go away for a week and not be able to poo.

Hi at the front of it there is a handle you pull it and the solid goes down. It is a good idear to flush it after you have put solid stuff down so there is liquid on the to as it keeps the smells inside. Make sure you use the right kind of loo roll. Happy camping
