Preferably with an indoor pool, nice clean facilities. We usually do quiet/basic facilities ie, shower blocks and childrens play frame but for Easter we thought we would treat the children to something more. (Me & DH dont really like commercial sites and Haven are a no-no for us, absolutely hate them).

We have looked at Stanwix in Penrith, Cumbria but its fully booked for Easter weekend.

Any recommendations.

oooh, the "for Easter" bit is the snag, I think. Was going to suggest Holgates at Silverdale - a linky here but wouldn't have any idea if they will have spaces for Easter - they might do! Good luck.

too far?

we don't really do these sort of sites but did a drive by last summer it looks v. well run.

Don't know any with indoor pools apart from not very nice or Haven type ones.

another thought is to see if you can get on the caravan club site in southport, which is very close to the lovely new pool which has water slides, tunnels and all kinds of stuff.

I was going to reccomend either Royal Umpire or the other one (always used to be country & western)in Southport neither of which have pools though but didn't know about the new pool nearby.

No pool, but lovely clean site, children's play area, small bar/restaurant with kids' games stuff upstairs I think. Right next to a fab beach, so no pool needed

Tyddyn Isaf on Anglesey - 2 hours from Manchester.
