We have never been away abroad as yet with our newly acquired caravan, but this summer want to venture into Europe with DH, DD (6) and DS (3). Have no idea how to get the best deals on ferries or how to decide on campsites. Where do I start? Do you get brochures like you can for eurocamp etc to browse through?
We live in the north west so thinking about a ferry crossing from Hull to make travelling time less. Your opinions and advice would be very much appreciated as to where, why and how!
Thanks

I'll try and post something later when I get back from swimming - start at ukcamping - the Camping and Caravanning abroad section in Messages has a good thread on 'first timers' then look at Alan Rogers, and yes get Eurocamp, Select Sites, keycamp etc to get good ideas.
Check out the ferry costs by looking at the websites too.

We do Dover as it's cheap but it can depend on where in Europe you want to end up!

We're here to hold your hand!
