There will be 4 families, with kids from 9 mths to 7, mostly 4-6ish. It needs to be

  • less than 1 hour from S LOndon/Surrey borders
  • a decent pool complex suitable for 3-6 yo
  • grass pitches (Sandy Balls seems to be all gravel, & is a wee bit too ££)

Any suggestions??

We stayed here Abbey Wood Very nice campsite. Toilet blocks were fantastic, everything clean and well organised. 10/15 min walk from the train station to go to London. It's surronded by trees and is a beautiful quite setting in the suburbs.

My DC called it Happy Wood.

Though no pool, sorry. But we spent so much time in London we wouldn't have had a chance to use it.

Ahhh, Happy Wood sounds lovely! But think the pool is a necessary for others in the group. Thanks though
