We have decided to go to Angelsey, does anyone know of a small, level site within walking distance(ie v.close) to sandy beach, clean, well kept, hidden away ,basic, not bothered about pub, shops etc. Have looked on uk campsite but all a bit big.
Fussy or what!
TIA

I stayed on a lovely one last year but I don't think it was walking distance to a beach.
My sister stayed at one which was really good but I think she said it was bigger site but it had baths for the kids etc.
It is hard isn't it searching for a campsite!

How about this one near Newborough? It's relatively small and not commercialised.

On the other side of the island near Moelfre is Dafarn Rhos which is right on the beach.
Try looking at some of the listings here and see if there are any you fancy.

Haven't stayed there, but this one looks nice and Lligwy beach is lovely.

another one in the same area. I think this one is the one we walk through up on the cliff - location is gorgeous.

Otherwise Sandy Bay is a beautiful beach, and I know it has a campsite right on it. Maybe this one
