minimum stay for french campsites?

Does anyone know whether it's common for french campsites to insist on a minimum stay in high season? I've just tried to book a site (la Ribeyre in Murol, Auvergne) - on the pitch description it says minimum 2 nights, on the booking form it says min 7 nights, but it appears to be allowing me to book for 4 (which is what we want), however, only on a basic pitch and we need EHU for our van. Tres tres confusing...

Have emailed, but no reply.

Thanks - I had a feeling that everywhere would be different! Do you know whether I should expect a reply at this time of year, when the camp site is closed? It's run by Sunelia - perhaps I should try contacting the company?
