Anybody fancy helping me find a tent?

I really want to get a tent but getting so frustrated with it, everytime I think I have found one I want I see bad reviews! I don't seem to know enough about tents but can't afford to buy one that won't last us a few holidays.

It is for 2 Adults and 2 young children (when we go next year they will be 1 and 2) but plan to camp at least once a year.

I have just been looking at the Gelert Michigan 8 and have found some good and bad reviews.

Off to do some more googling but would be really grateful of some help as it is a mindfield! We went camping last year and borrowed a 4 man gelert tunnel tent from my Dad and it was great but we need a bit bigger now as we are going for 2 weeks and both DC will be active (DD1 was only just walking and DD2 was a newborn when we went this year). So a bigger version of that seems perfect but wanted to check with you more experienced campers first!

Looks nice. Try and find somewhere with it erected so you can walk around in it. The carpets are lovely too.

Beware this camping lark is addictive. ihave my big tent for family holidays, my festival tent for shoter trips and festivals and 2 man popup for my teenage DSs and their socks. there is so much kit you can get too. Camping kit envy is a serious disease.....

All the reviews on that site are brilliant which is a good sign.

I did actually look round it last year when only very briefly thinking about buying a tent. But it was out of our budget really so I didn't really look properly. I remember thinking it was huge at the time! Lol. But we do like our space.
