i'd like your recommendations for brilliant campsites you've been to in northern spain (cantabria, asturias, galicia) PLEASE!!!

we're thinking of spain rather than our usual (7 years running!) 2 weeks in france. We love France but feel we should spread our wings. We're thinking of doing the ferry to santander and don't want too long a drive. We have our own tent and want to pitch it ourselves OR use a eurocamp type ready erected tent (tho that will be expensive we know).

Where have you been and was it lovely??

you could look for biaritz sites on ukcampsites.co.uk. i camped there years ago as a student and remember some of the beaches were heaving - there were only 2 of us but remember thinking if there'd been a family we would have struggled to sit together! think that was biaritz town beach
