Camping with pool North West France

La Vendette has been recommended to me on the Vendee, which looks fab (any comments?), but I am rather keen on a swimming pool on site for my DDs. Can anyone recommend a child friendly site with a pool and fairly close to a beach. Within 4/5 hours of St Malo or Cherbourg preferably as our campervan is very slooooow, but we'd travel further for a gem. Thanks

La Yole - is rather nice - it has a pool and bar area also walking distance to the shops and beach so no need to move the campervan. It is roughly 120-150 miles tops and no paege either (which is more expensive in a camper than car)

La Yole is near to St Jean de Mont and at the north end of the vendee strip!

That place looks lovely 2fedup. We are thinking of venturing to France next year. Which port did you travel to to get there and how long did it take?

camoing Acapulco in St jean de Monts is fantastic!! I have recommended this site to other mumsnetters in the past and they loved it too!
