It's looks a great place for DS just to be able to tear around!

Do you know York?

fishflange · 17/09/2009 20:43

York is jam packed full of things to do. Walking the walls, exploring the shambles (teeny tiny historic street) can take a day. The National train museum is free and I think the Yorkshire museum is too. Once you are there you don't have to spend anything!

Blime I should work for the tourist office....

Just spent the weekend in York and the railway museum was fab. Also Ive just discovered one of the best sandwich shops ever. Cant remember its name but its in the Shambles and you can have any filling you like in a large baguette for £1 (freshly made). By the way those Yurts look very interesting.
