Ultimate Camping List - anyone done one or fancy making one?

Trying to think what I need to take for 5 days away - silly me threw away the list I made last time. Anyone fancy helping to compile a complete camping list so we can just print, or refer back every time we go camping? I will type up mine once (I think) I've finished it, some stuff may not be relevant - is based on 2 adults, 3 yr old and a 12 month old.

Those are the three things that maintain me at a level and sanity and jollyness to ensure the dc are not ducktaped into their sleeping bags and deltapegged down to the floor in the utility tent with all my extra guys.

PandaG · 19/08/2009 14:27

mumsnet have put one together here if that helps?

PandaG · 19/08/2009 14:28

hijack - Slubber - have you been to Carlton Park in Suffolk? any comments gratefully received

Slubberdegullion · 19/08/2009 14:33

um, is that the one that belongs to the cricket club in Saxmundham? If so, yes I have been. I was very nice. Loos were clean, with a couple of big family rooms. Loads of outdoor space, great play area for the dc, tennis courts. No shop.

yes that is the one planning on going somewhere next week without DC and Suffolk makes sense (will be leaving DC in Norfolk with mum!)

Clean loos and showers is what I am bothered about, so those comments are very helpful. Thanks a lot

Troutpout,
What do you mean, not the woolly hats and suncream together? Have you never camped in Wales?

(Still pondering what a screwdiver is -- probably a fit bloke in a wetsuit, hmmm?

troutpout · 19/08/2009 17:47

lol
Mmmmmm! more like !

Daisydaydream · 21/08/2009 16:52

I always take suncream and wooly hats, ones for the daytime, ones for the night time!
