don't mind fairly basic.
water nearby would be nice (river/lake/stream/sea?)

quiteish if poss.

any ideas? by tomorrow?

can't do water but can do basic (no showers) plus forest just outside marlborough not been yet, mind.

you're prolly within reach of forest of dean too which is a favourite spot for us, if river nearby counts as steep forest trek to the pub doward park is best site round there imo but likely booked up, all the mn campers have just gone christchurch/bracelands which is equally good for location, but quite big/busy.

I think the Wye valley is about the right distance? Don't know if it's still there but I camped years ago just north of Chepstow (on the east side of the river I think). It was a beautiful setting, though a bit basic. (Just a couple of fields with a toilet block!) Don't know if it's still open though...
