Isn't it chilli? So, onions, mince, kidney beans, a bit of spice if you fancy it, stock, perhaps some tinned tomatos, booze usually.

Don't know - I make cowboy casserole

Fried onions
cooked sausages
baked beans
Tinned pineapple

would mince, baked beans, tomatoes (tinned with herbs), oxo cube taste ok? or p'raps some wooster sauce? (I know how to spell it properly!)
