One of my tent bits is broken... will the shop want a receipt? <throws cushions off settee>

Bloody thing - one plastic cup type thing that holds one of the poles is cracked (and split)

It's attatched to the main pole, so isn't exactly easy to get an exchange - they'd have to change the pole I think

Is it worth trying without my receipt (no idea where I put it ) although I have my bank statement with the shop and amount - I only bought the tent that day I think

They should be able to find your receipt on the computer if you've got a bank statement with it on. I took something back to Morrisons once, with only my debit card receipt and they traced it back on their computers. I think I've done a similar thing in Argos too.

am pretty sure they haven't sold THAT many of the same tent - is a very, very small shop...
