Does anyone have one? I saw one at the site we were at and had total tent envy .

What a tent, I really really want one now. I bet they didn't have to pack up early and come home!

OH and a Kyham Overlander too, that looked amazing also!

Whats the best tent you have saw recently?

Here It's massive. I'd love a tent like that but I'd also need a car big enough to transport it and someone to pitch it for me.

MumHadEnough · 31/07/2009 17:38

Yup thats the very dude. Only the one I saw at the weekend had the chef annexe at the rear instead of the extra sleeping annexe.

Unfortunately I don't have a car big enough for it either. I have a peugeot 307cc which barely takes all our stuff at the moment.

That tent is a beast though!

We've just bought one - fab offer meant it was a great price. Dead easy to put up too

MumHadEnough · 31/07/2009 23:53

Where did you get it CMOT? If you don't mind me asking that is.

It was here - I was resisting DH's Evolva wish until he found that price !

MumHadEnough · 01/08/2009 12:30

How much do I want to buy it now!!!!!

I'd never heard of it, but I want one now!! My 2 camping buddies have both bought HUGE shiney new tents this week, so I think I'm going to have serious tent envy when we go away in a couple of weeks!

MumHadEnough · 02/08/2009 01:17

You should see it in the flesh Flippyflop, amazing! It looks so sturdy too. While all the others were struggling in the wind, it was stood SOLID!

would you recommnd for a camping novice ?

MumHadEnough · 02/08/2009 15:59

Its a big tent Phoenix and a big outlay if it turns out you don't enjoy camping.

But I think like most modern tents they are all easy enough to erect nowadays.

Certainly wish I had one!

well were going to find out, have just brought it the price was to good to resist .Did try camping several years ago and did like it but reckon we had bad choice of tent.Bt now dc are growing up would like to give another try

CMOTdibbler · 03/08/2009 07:36

It's very easy to put up - the colour coded poles help matters, and the real advantage for a big tent is that you put the bedrooms up separatley, and then put it all together, so not too much at a time

MumHadEnough · 03/08/2009 22:29

Very very jealous!!!!

We have a Coleman evolva tent for sale. It is a great tent with lots of space.:) And very waterproof and can stand to alot of wind (shock) as we found out last time we used. Sadly the tent is to big for us now so we must sell it and down size. (sad)

piratecat · 15/08/2010 18:32

just looking at the spec. looks like it doesn't actually zip up on the front doors, just four bits of velcro, and then the windows, you can't see out of them unless they are open? just going by what the various websites and reviews have said. It lookslike just what me and dd are looking for, so wonder how important those points I mentioned are?

piratecat · 15/08/2010 18:37

sorry, ignore me, i am talking about another coleman i saw whilst browing the links. Blush!!!!

lunavix · 15/08/2010 19:09

How do you fit the other three people in - it says it goes from sleeping 3 to 9 but as far as I can see two sleeping annexes = 6 people?

Unless the other 3 sleeping in the living bit?
