So did anyone go to Camp Bestival last weekend

THis was my 1st festival and it was brilliant.

Didn;t rate PJ Harvey much but thought the Cuban Brothers were amazing. As was Lee Mack (DD! was one of the children at the front he was abusing - he did apologise later!!!)

There was so much to do. Definitely going again next year

well DSD was 3.5 this year and in some ways was really too old! Ie he wouldn't just snuggle up in a buggy and go to sleep on demand so I really mostly just did th echildrens arena with a swift foray into the main arenas until he got bored/it rained. He probably owuld have been fine last year.

Ds is 2.3 and loved it, in fact we all did. We love you Mr Tumble (except when you didn't give ds first prize for his fancy dress). Will definitely be going next year, going to try and press gang a few friends in too. Loved Chic, didn't really see much other music.

... wishes that I had looked at this earlier. Maybe next year!!

we - me, DH, DD just 2 and DS 8 months went - and loved every minute!!! Feel a bit obivious to all the bands that were playing, as, like someone else said, we spent a lot of time centred around DCs being OK - which was cool and we still had massively fun time in the Kids Garden. Did get to see PJ Harvey, Phoenix, Florence etc though. Just loved it. DS slept in buggy both nights and DD danced the night away with us! Roll on next year!!!

I was also worried about loos - absolutely fine until last day and some prick went and smeared shit everywhere - why would anyone do that? Luckily I didn;t see that, DH not so fortunate though.
