I am packing for my first weekend camp...it is never going in teh car...how much stuff do you take?

ATM I have 3 holdalls full of clothes/towels/toiletries type stuff.

How much do you take for a W/E away camping for a family of 5 (in this weather). I need to rationalise [argggghhhhh]

I avoid drinking too much in the evening as I HATE having to get up for a wee when camping.

I have all of the above, 3 kids, a dog and a Fiat Punto!

Have lopaded the car. Boot only

Everything is in except

...2 holdalls
...cool box
...beach bag full of bits
...ruscksack full of bits
...pillows
...coats

Bugg is in rear footwell.

I am glad we are taking 2 cars this time...I dread to think what will happen next time...

In the old days when I was a kid we used to lay the sleeping bag and pillows out on the back seat and me and my bro and sis would sit on them.

To be fair the sleeping bags will come out of the boot and into teh front footwell. The other 2 holdalls should then fit. The other bits will then be able to go in the footwell too or in DPs car.
