But in the end the nurse has suggested that it wouldn't be the best holiday in the world for DH - so we are cancelling

Does anyone want a lovely pitch in North Wales in August??

We are looking for a chalet/cottage with a big enough garden to put up a little tent for DD & her best friend

Sorry to hear that you're not going but it sounds like you have made a good decision in taking the nurses advice.

A friend of ours has recommended this company to us but we've not used them yet.

Feeling quite down about this & so is DD

why does nurse not agree? Is it the sleeping on floor thingy or just risk of cold? I dont know what to suggest but hope you find something good

I must cancel my plot tomorrow - I guess I will pay a cancellation charge

He is Ok atm (after 10 days of IV antibiotics I would hope so)

But he has Bronchectasis & generally isn't very well

Is the site near a sandy beach?

Sandy beach with rock pools (if my memory is right) about a 400/500 yards away across fields down a fairly steep path Llyn penninsular 23rd Aug for 6 nights no electric, but basic showers/toilets

That would suit me perfectly but I am not sure we will be able to go those dates - I will check......

If someone else can be available do overlook me cos I am not sure we will be (I want to though as we havent booked anywhere - boring reasons why!)

I cancelled it - the lady was fab, not cancellation fee or anything
