DH has a plan for our next camping trip.

Bet you can't guess what he thinks is necessary.

A generator?

MaryMotherOfCheeses · 12/07/2009 22:14

Much more worrying than that.

We campers don't do this kind of game do we?

Oh ok then.

A dustbuster.

Cordless.

Because the tent gets bits of grass and sand in it and it bothers him.

Goober · 12/07/2009 22:20

Where will he charge it?

QuintessentialShadow · 12/07/2009 22:20

He wants to camp and be closer to nature, but nature should not come close to him?

He has a thing about floors.

But this is getting ridiculous.

Can you imagine camping next door to someone and seeing them get out a dustbuster.

Mary i said no as neighbours might think i had a vibrator in my tent with me . It is good idea though if you already have one but i would never tell my dh that.

MaryMotherOfCheeses · 12/07/2009 22:34

We don't have one. He's thinking of buying it specially.

Which really makes it worse. I'm hoping the expense of a new table (which we do need) and new pegs will put him off.

OP posts:
MaryMotherOfCheeses · 12/07/2009 22:35

LOL at suspicious vibrator noises. I'll have to sit ostentatiously outside on my own.

OP posts:
Nappyzoneisabeetrootrunner · 12/07/2009 22:38

ha ha - oooo a new table - them foldy aluminim ones are on offer in makro this week im going to have myself one for £14.

MaryMotherOfCheeses · 12/07/2009 22:40

Nah. Sounds good, but £14 on a table isn't nearly enough to distract him from buying a dustbuster.

OP posts:
Curiousmama · 12/07/2009 22:42

Blimey I was embarrassed enough about the squeaking of the pump blowing up my air bed...any vibrational noises and I'd have had to stay in the tent

Came back online to look at....camping sites Is there a campers-anonymous?

HAHA thats hilarious!! has your dh not heard of a brush??!!

dietstartstomorrow · 13/07/2009 21:18

lol - I would piss myself seeing the 'neighbours' dust-busting while camping

Although it is starting to sound like quite a good idea.

StripeyKnickersSpottySocks · 13/07/2009 21:38

I'd laugh if it sucked the SIG so hard that it ripped it!
