Patio gas bottle with a campingaz stove????

Howdy campers,

Not sure if anyone can help, but the ukcampsite website is not letting me register and you all seem so knowledgable!!

I recently bought a Campingaz "Camping Kitchen" double stove thing but it did not have a regulator.

At home I already have a gas BBQ hooked up to a bottle of calor patio gas.

Can I use the gas bottle and the camp stove together? Do I use the same regulator that I use with the BBQ?

I'm sure it's a ridiculously obvious answer, but i'm just hopeless with these things!!

Thanks in advance!

you can normally use any gas with the right regulator, but check the stove spec to be 100% sure.

Calor is cheaper than campingaz, but if you are going camping abroad campingaz is more widely avaiable

Ta Betsy,

I'm assuming here that the regulator fits the gas bottle and not the appliance? (IFYSWIM)

yep regulator has to fit the bottle, but you still need to check the cooker spec to ensure it can cope with the different flow rate of the gas (I think that's the correct term) - most can but there will always be one that can't...

if it's this one the campingaz website suggests you are okay
