Is it ok to machine wash a tent?

if i set it on "wool" or "delicate" programme and that i dont use detergent of any kind (what about those eco balls?)

should i avoid the spin cycle too?

its an igloo tent, very musty and i dont have a garden to wash it

advice appreciated

No i don't think it is. I think you would damage the fabric and the proofing.

Can you air it anywhere?
We haven't got a garden but kind of drape ours in the house

Once you go camping pitch it somewhere it will air naturally...so i wouldn't bother tbh

No, it says it on our tent in fact (s if I have a machine big enough for an eight berth outwell PMSL)

when you pi9tch, febtreeze some towels well, open out the tent completely and distribute towls around tent. Will sort it
