Recommendations for a campsite near harrogate

Title says it all!
We would like to visit the RHS garden at Harlow Carr, so anything around that area.
We have a campervan with awning and 3 small children, so a child friendly site, but not too butlins-ish IYSWIM. A good pub within walking distance would be a bonus!

Thanks - i saw a couple of sites in ripley on the UK campsite website, but had no idea what it was like, so I'll check them out now.
Surfermum - think I remember you from the VW thread last year?

yup - we like ripley. Has little indoor pool too, which is handy. quiet but not too scary. Duckpond might be a wee issue with tinies though?
And load and loads of lovely places to visit nearby.

you will adore Harlow Carr - and so will the children!

just adding my vote for Ripley too, though it's a few years since I last went. The walk to the village for an ice cream is a must though.

There's a site at Bishop Monkton (I think) too, very quiet but no ball games/playground on site, the village playground is quite close.

There is a campsite at Rudding Park on the outskirts of Harrogate.
