Bay View, or Norman's Bay? (Nr Eastbourne)

Any strong feelings?

We are visiting a friend in eastbourne, and will camp fo the w/e. There will be a group of us, all with kids.

Norman's Bay sounds nicer, for beach, Bay View handier for restaurants without piling them all in the car.

My friend enjoyed Norman's Bay. She camped with a group of friends and the children loved the beach.

It does sound nice.

iirc you'd be piling in the car to go anywhere from Bay View too.
So might be nicer to stay at the Norman's Bay site. Further away from harbour housing estate and retail park.

Well, Bay View is fully booked fo the w/e after next, so Norman's Bay it is! And it looks v nice.
