Sorry to be so dim

Haven't camped in years (that would be decades)

yes at least I'm not buying any of these tents. That would be BAD.

I do not believe we have a berth resolution yet from Katy.

What's a berth resolution - is it something else I have to buy?

Absolutely. You mean you haven't checked them out?

Might not be able to get one this far into the season.

Is the Tigric on your list the Tigris???
If so I have the Tigris 800 and it is great. We were going to get the 600 but the salesman persuaded us to get the 800 as it was higher, took the same amount of effort to get up and was still only one pitch space. I love it.

Oh yes, boot them out into their own little pop up. Much more civilised to have a tent to yourself and dh. You dd is quite old isn't she katy? She's not 3 or something, in which case her own tent would be a little cruel I think.

DD is 11 - tho' she acts 3 sometimes

I like the look of the Orchy, good headroom in the living area, easy to put up, not too big - looks good!

lthough this Vango Icarus 500 means that you can also stand up in the bedroom compartment - decent price too. It is a bit smaller though.

Hi Lucy

As an alternative to a tent for you and DH and a pup for dd, have you thought about a vis-a-vis style like this with bedrooms at either side of the living space. You'll still get a bit of privacy but without the hassle of taking an extra tent and the surcharge on the site for a pup tent.

The wynnster curlew is a vis a vis too.

It's all a bit confusing
