Hiya

Has anyone been to the Eurocamp site here?

How did you get from the airport to the campsite?

Cheers,

SHA

Saggyhairyarse think we've spoken on this subject before as I'm going just further up the coast from you!! Last year I was gonna get the bus just panicked as on my own with my 2 dc for the 1st time (XH had left us a few months before) and booked a taxi transfer with this lot daytransfer.it they were the cheapest I could find and very helpful - there on time and, cos I'd asked for car seats, turned up with a huge collection of car seats for me to choose from!!! Cost me 80euros from marco Polo to Eraclea Mare. Came back to airport on the bus though as it was 3 euros a head and the bus stop was literally outside the campsite!! Drivers are very helpful and it's more of a coach than a local bus - luggage goes in boot. Try here for local bus times etc. Would def recommend the bus!! Email your campsite tho to check if there's a bus stop outside - think the buses tend to stop outside nearly all the campsites along the road anyway.
If you've got a late flight back home, get the bus to the airport, bung the luggage in left luggage and get the water bus into Murano or somewhere and spend your last day in venice! That's what we did and it was fab!

These do private transfers

We used another company whose link I can't find at the mo to get from Treviso to Union Lido which is along the road from where you are going. It cost about 80 euros each way. But the traffic in the summer is dreadful. We jumped into an air conditioned merc, and took some short cuts. The people off our flight who took the bus arrived about 3 hours! after us. It seemed expensive but it really was money well spent.

I found my bookmark finally. it was mytransfer.it, but the link takes me to the daytransfer link that leslaki has already given. So i have to say I can heartily recommend them too!

The VERY thought of being stuck in a 2 hour jam on a bus with a small child makes me shudder!

We went last 2 weeks in Aug and didn' experience any bad traffic on roads - bus or tranfer! Must ahve been v lucky but budget means bus I'm afraid!! Bus took us exactly the same time to get back to airport as the transfer taxi had taken to get us to campsite! Hoping for same again this year
