A flat one - dont laff some sites do give slopey ones and you slide down all night

One off main walk thru to toilets/bar/washup but not too far from loos

A lot of gud sites bet booked you will have to move quick as all UK staying unUK this summer evidently???

see i'd always go for a gentle slope, much more comfy for sleeping, as long as you make sure your heads are all pointing uphill. that way when it rains you're not sat in a puddle either

check prevailing winds/windbreaks etc. too - we had to rescue 2 tents from being blown into the sea earlier this week

Nice and level,
No stones,
Not directly under the trees, (birds shit on the tent),
Not too close to other campers esp. if they look like they will be partying until 4am or have rottweilers in tow.
In sight of play area so kids can be kept an eye on (but not so close that the noise of them all will drive you mad).

thanks all. i take it that it's mandatory to make an arse of it the first time?
