tea lights won't fry anything, gently warm it if you're lucky.

flatcapandpearls · 28/05/2009 12:59

same as heartofgold

HarmonyHunter · 28/05/2009 13:00

I'll give it miss then, thanks

the suitcase ones that run on butane are good

heartofgold · 28/05/2009 13:05

this kind of thing

flatcapandpearls · 28/05/2009 13:10

we started with one of these, we still use it for making hot drinks and on the beach

we now have this

this looks a good buy

HarmonyHunter · 28/05/2009 13:36

That does look like a good deal pearls. I like the one you linked to heartof gold but I think we would need 2 rings. Can I ask you what you think of this pan?

That does look like a good idea, I need some camping bits may look on ebay myself

heartofgold · 28/05/2009 15:37

i can cook 3 types of veg in one normal pan

that last cooker looks great, am tempted myself, but once you add in the gas bottle (£50+) it becomes quite an investment...

poopscoop · 28/05/2009 15:38

OP it looks like a pile of old crap from the 70's sorry. Bet everyones mum has one in the back of the kitchen cupboard, next the the fondue set.

blithedance · 28/05/2009 16:55

MIL has those triple pans for her caravan - but we tend to cook more all-in-splodge meals rather than separate peas, carrots and potaotes like they do.

bigTillyMint · 28/05/2009 18:20

my mum had those pans in the 70's!

HarmonyHunter · 28/05/2009 20:27

I hadnt considered the price of the gas with that cooker, I wonder if you can buy an old empty bottle from ebay? That may work out cheaper.

I do still like that pan
