Oh good. No one else is camping.

We're going on our first family camping trip.

Off to Sandwich in Kent as we have a wedding there on Saturday.

Excited and nervous - but very happy that the weather forecast has improved!

We are also on our first trip, to Gairloch. It will probably rain all weekend.

we're off to a static caravan at Carmarthen bay holiday park in wales. Am expecting it to be a complete dive but as we have been rained out tent camping the last 2 May half terms dh insisted on a caravan this year.
Going to treat it as though we are camping and so will hide the telly in a wardrobe when we arrive. Planning on doing lots of cycling and bbq's on the beach. Trip advisor says that the site is chav hell but we only have to sleep there.

We are going 1/2 mile down the road to a farm. With 100 small children. Sounds grim but at least it's supposed to be sunny.

And then the next weekend we might go to North Cornwall. Perhaps South Penquite farm. If the weather's good.

We're skipping the weekend and going Tuesday for the rest of the week - first time camping as a family, and I haven't been in years! The kids are very excited though so should be fun . Going near Matlock.

Off to West Runton Norfolk, packed all the essentials, Mega bag of Haribo and my best find a camping cocktail shaker.

Glamping

We are off to a small site near Ross on Wye, with nothing more than a field and a couple of portaloos . We went before and loved it, although dd2 (2.5) has a phobia of portaloos and asks to go home when she needs a poo . Luckily there is a pub nearby with facilities which meet her exacting standards!

The only spanner in the works is that dd2 was running a temperature last night so it might all be off. She has perked up now but will see how she is in the morning .

Brighouse with about 200 Guides and Brownies!!

Lakes with DH's hillwalking friends and about 10000 assorted toddler offspring.

Was meant to be going to Isle Of Sheppey in the caravan but he's cars not working and I don't have a tow bar on mine. So, I cbought a dishwasher insead .

Bit pissed off we can't go away still though.

We are off to Southend AirShow on Monday and Legoland on Thursday
