Khyam Ontario 8 - what do you think?

We've just bought one of these (replaced our Kyham ontario 8 because the poles snapped the very first time we put it up because the polycotton was too heavy) and was wondering if anyone had any erecting tips, or advice through using it.

we've got one and i love it to bits as it's huuuuge! but also a bit embarrassed as it is so huuuuuge!

sorry no tips on putting up but it is a slow steady process but gets much faster as you get used to it!!!

We had one last year.

fab tent. Yes it's big but then there's six of us so it is hrses for courses really.

DH could pitch alone which was a huge bonus with a newborn, sturdy in winds (additional canopy came down in tornado but so did most tents so the fact that the tent survived is fab)

generally a good tent and IMO one of the best ones about for it's price.

Recommend the porch or canopy as that just finishes it really, and a tip is if you buy the groundsheet for underneath and carpet not ony will you get protectiona nd insulation, it'll retain value far better if you ever want to resell LOL.
