Is it worth buying a Tilley lamp?

It is my DH who is considering one hana

Is there a lamp you would recommend instead, I am kitting us out for our first camping trip

Tilley lamps are very reliable, easy to use (I used them alot during military training) BUT I wouldn't use them with small children around. They can be a fire hazard and they get hot. Think Hana's solar one sounds much better.
