Advice please on Outwell Nevada M vs Montana 4

I'm looking for a smallish tent which will suit dd (age 9) and me (& possibly dh, but unlikely) that we can put up ourselves. I'm vertically challenged (5'5") too! It'll be used for car-based weekends plus longer holidays as we'll have a backpacking tent for cycling trips.

I'd just about decided on the Nevada M when I discovered an offer on a Nevada 4 (sleeps 4 instead of 5) then just to add to my confusion, I've found that Blacks still stock the discontinued Montana 4

I know quite a few of you love your Montana 6's and would appreciate advice!

I'd go for the Nevada 4 -Here it is the same price but has the kids room too which my dd (also 9 would adore!)

hi, I also would go for the Nevada 4 with the kids room, I could not put a montana 6 on my own (5'6) height wise and the montana 4 is not much shorter..and also heavier than the others which is a pain when its windy. Had no problem with a Nevada...my only niggle is the pole accross the door /rain shield thing was awkward to get right but would not put me off...

Thank you very much for your input Lucycat and 3rdnparty.

I watched a video clip of a couple putting up the Nevada earlier and reckon I could probably manage with a bit of input from dd - who's a helpful soul, and nearly as tall as me. Will take the plunge tomorrow I think!

Bought the Nevada M today, dd and me got it put up in the garden with no problem - except to swear at dh as he hung out of the bedroom window with his camera..

Have now unpacked our Fat Airics and am just getting the rest of the stuff from the Mumsnet 'how to keep warm at night' thread and having a last fix on here before getting snuggled up around the Camping Gaz lantern
