Is there an average pitch size?

We've been looking at tents over the last few days and wondered if there is an average pitch size.

The tent we're thinking of is 730x630cm - even more if we had the front extension. Is that too big? Are we likely to get charged twice at much?

Our old tent was much smaller so it never crossed my mind before!

not sure how big you mean, can you describe how many beds etc.

Most pitches are pretty big anyway if they are marked out. Usually enough room to get tent and car and picnic table, chairs etc outside.

Majority of camps send you into the field and you just set yourselves up wherever, so generally i wouldnt worry about it. Get the tent you want.

Will fit the avarage pitch no problem.
