....help me decide!!

Have faffed on ebay for two weeks but have now got decided to go with Somerset Camping who seem to have some good deals.

Was originally after a Vango Aspen 500 DLX but am now umming and arring about whether to go for the Zambezi DLX either 500 or 700.

Any advice? Anyone got either of them?

I need to do it quickly before I get cold feet and decide they are too much!!

what's your criteria?

Both your choices seem good ones, I think the decision now will come down to specifics like weight/space/ease of putting up.

I can/t offer more advice as I only ever use two berth tents that can fit in my rucksack

Well I went for the Aspen 500 DLX. Reading reviews it seems that the Zambezi is a bit less stable than the Aspen. I think it was Peachy who said that the bedroom was a bit small in the Aspen, but our DSes are still only 5 and 3 so they will be in with us for a while then we can swap tents when they are bigger!

Phew, that purchase has been taking over my life for weeks. Can now start to worry that I've bought the wrong tent

And now they phone and tell me it is out of stock The hunt may begin again or else I will just go for the Zambezi!!

Hi
We bought the Vango Tigris 800. We have two dd's who are 6 and 3. It apparently goes up in 20 mins and because we will only need one bedroom we can take the other one out and have a big living space. It is also 220cm high so good for my tall DH. We apent ages choosing and went all over looking. We got it for £235 online in the end and I am certain we made the right decision. We were only looking at a 5-6 berth to start with but the sales person conviced me saying it was quick to put up so could be a weekend tent but had more flexibility doe to size and fits a standard pitch size. Wonder if this will help ....

Will have a look at that one thanks! We have cancelled our order for now and are watching an Vango Aspen 700 DLX on Ebay but with only half an hour to go, I'm getting the jitters about buying a second hand tent!
