family friendly campsites around midlands???

... with spotless toilets and showers!!!! (a bit obsessed with this... was going to say anal but... )

anyway... anything peaceful and quiet, with little things to keep the kiddies occupied (no need for a huge site with all bells and whistles....)... woods to play in? little playground? etc...

Cotswold View is a lovely little site with farm animals, fab play areas, a little shop, farm walks etc. We pitched our tent backwards so we could sit in our tent porch and watch the children play on one of the little playgrounds.

I adore Cotswold View - we go two or three times a year - lovely play area, spaced pitches, little shop, woods, farm animals. very safe!

We walk down into Charlebury, and back. There is a park down there too, useful for a change. Swimming pool at Chipping Norton. Boys went fishing near by. But really, we don't leave! There is a huge walk round the woods, football pitch in them too. so many things for them to explore.

We've just been to rutland caravan and camping site for the weekend and it was a fabulous site. We didn't have the best time ever as we stayed during a freezing gale and our airbed had a puncture and required pumping up every hour! But we still enjoyed the stay and the site was faultless. The toilets/showers were the best I've ever seen - I'm a bit like you - but they were warm, dry and spotlessly clean, plenty of toilets and showers which were hot and free. Brilliant - we'll be going back but shh don't tell anyone else as I don't want them to be booked up all the time
